Julie Harper, M.S.
Fish and Wildlife Biologist
Julie has more than 13 years of experience implementing fish and wildlife research projects in the Pacific Northwest, nine years in the Columbia River basin. She has conducted biotelemetry-based studies on a wide range of wildlife and fish species, from beavers and raccoons to salmonids, with her most recent work focusing on Pacific lamprey and white sturgeon. She has led every aspect of the research process from the capture and tagging study animals to final reporting. Julie’s diverse experience also includes monitoring Steller sea lion rookeries and haulouts, Caspian tern monitoring and dissuasion, and preparing and reviewing National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) documentation.
